A Platform of Korean modern history and East Asian history​



This blog is to give a historical information how two Koreas were divided and have developed so far in each way. In order to discuss the division of Korea, we need to go back to late 19th century, which is modern era. So, the content here will start from late 19th century of East Asia.

At the same time, the content will include other East Asian countries' history, which is mostly about China and Japan. Three countries have been interacted and impacted each other over thousands of years. So, the blog is not only about Korean modern history but also East Asian history.
